Bishop Darnell Leach was born the third of five sons to the late Reverend William & Mother Annie Leach.  One of his earliest memories is at age five being placed on a milk crate and singing before his father was scheduled to preach.  The song he sang which is still one of his favorite hymns is “Close To Thee.”


Dr. Darnell Leach is the Founding Pastor and Overseer of the Shiloh Abundant Life Center, which is located in Forestville, Maryland.   In 2015 he founded Shiloh Abundant Life of Atlanta. Shiloh is now one church in two locations. He has served as pastor for thirty-seven years along with his wife, Pastor Anita Leach.  Much of his life has been spent serving in different capacities in the church, which helped to prepare him for pastoral ministry.


His ministry history includes, Licensed Minister in 1972, Ordained Elder in 1976, began pastoring in 1979, appointed as District-Elder in 2000, consecrated Bishop in 2004, and elected to the Executive Board of Bishops in 2007.


He is the organizer of the New Beginnings Fellowship which is a fellowship of over thirty pastors and churches in the United States, and Bishop of over twenty churches in Jamaica West Indies.


Bishop has served as a Bible Teacher, Lecturer, and speaker for churches and ministries throughout the United States, and several countries in the Caribbean, and West Indies.


God has blessed Bishop Leach to write and develop the curriculum that is now being used by Bible Way to ordain their elders and deacons.  He is also the author of three books, “Deep Calls To Deep”, “Winning The Battle Over Self” and “Eight Things Every Leader Must Know-Do.”


His greatest desire and goal is to see men and women whose lives are broken, to come to a place of wholeness, because of the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.


He has been married for over 40 years to the love of his life, Dr. Anita Leach.  He and his wife have recently relocated to Atlanta, GA and have planted Shiloh Abundant Life Center of Atlanta. Also, he is the proud father of one daughter, Katrice Hollins, who once served as youth pastor for a number of years, and he has two grandsons, Darnell Ashton and Xavier Ashton, and one granddaughter Averi Hollins.


Dr. Anita Maria Leach

Dr. Anita is a native of the District of Columbia.  At an early age, she can remember attending various churches and realizing that something was missing in her life.  Her grandmother witnessed to her about accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior.  In August 1966, Dr. Anita was filled with the Holy Spirit at thirteen years of age.  She dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ from that day.


On November 22, 1975, Dr. Anita was joined in Holy matrimony to Minister Darnell Leach. God blessed them with one beautiful daughter, Katrice Marie Leach-Hollins, who currently serves with them in ministry. She is also the loving and proud grandmother of two grandsons, Darnell William and Xavier Andrew, and one granddaughter, Averi Hollins.


In 1981, Dr. Anita received the call to preach the Word of God. She is the Co-Founder of Shiloh Abundant Life Center in Forestville. MD, where she has served for over 35 years as a preacher, teacher, workshop facilitator and counselor for the Kingdom of God.  She and her husband relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2015 and planted Shiloh Abundant Life Center of ATL.


She is an anointed preacher and teacher who enjoys counseling, teaching, and ministering to women.  Dr. Anita enjoys traveling with her loving companion, Bishop Darnell Leach as they often have opportunities to provide training and instruction to leaders and couples.


Dr. Anita is a graduate of Washington Bible College, Bowie State University and received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2011.  She is a licensed certified professional counselor, a Certified Christian Life Coach, and CEO of Abundant Living Now, LLC. Dr. Anita is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and American Counseling Association.


Her uttermost desire is to fulfill the purpose and call of God upon her life.  God has given her a word of release for women in the Body of Christ.  Her greatest joy in ministry is to see women emotionally healed, delivered and set free from yokes of bondage.
