What We Believe

The following are some of the tenants of faith that we ascribe to as a local assembly.  It is important that we all speak the same thing.  While we may hold to our own personal interpretations of certain scriptures, we must examine the scriptures by comparing Scripture with Scripture.

We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all things which relates to life and godliness.

We believe that salvation comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary, that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead, and that Jesus ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor and advocate.

We believe in the Triune Godhead.

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe in the imminent (any moment) pre-millennium return of Christ.

We believe in the resurrection and rapture of the True Church of God.

We believe in the final judgment of the living and the dead.

We believe in the ordinances of water baptism, Holy Communion, and feet washing.

We believe in living a lifestyle of humility, holiness, and consecration to the Lord.

We believe that tithes and offerings are required of believers to support the ministry of the local assembly in which they are planted.

How Do I Accept Jesus Into My Life?

[intro]The Salvation Prayer is not a ritual based on specific words. This is not the power of a prayer, but the power of truly committing our lives to Christ as Savior and Lord. The following is merely a guideline for our sincere step of faith:[/intro]

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only Son, Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.
